From the INTO THE ARCTIC Project
With bellies full of oatmeal, we hiked across the immense moraine until reaching the highway of ancient ice. There, a deep grumble beneath our feet reminded us to watch our step.
Ahead, rising like ice giants from the glacier, were Mount Asgard, Mount Loki, and other peaks layered deep into the beyond. There, in a world of wonder, I set up on the ice by a crystal glacial stream and painted until the shivering set in.
