From the INTO THE ARCTIC Project
Hiking along the mountain-lined Weasel River Valley in Auyuittuq National Park, one has a palpable sense of smallness. It’s a welcome feeling that occurred often during my expeditions. Ego dissipates as nature humbles with beauty and wildness and at times causes me to seek shelter from her unpredictable wrath. These feelings came over me once more as I set up my easel along this glacier-fed stream.
