Along the Ice

From the INTO THE ARCTIC Project

Travelling by small boat along the face of Baffin Island’s Coronation Glacier, I was mesmerized by the display of icy cracks and crags. My heart raced a little faster with each chunk of ice that crashed into the waters below. A shifting veil of fog revealed only part of the view at any time, maintaining an aura of mystery while I set up the easel in my floating studio.
