Morning Paddle

Canoeing in the still pre-dawn waters brought me to this majestic view of iconic Canadian Shield and pine trees. I stopped paddling and slowed to a stop, floating in the sereneness of the moment. Setting up my easel momentarily broke the silence as I began painting a small study, reflecting on the glorious reflected view while the mist burned off before my eyes.
